Patrick LaCanne suffered from terrible seizures as a child. He often had dozens of seizures per day.

Patrick's story is told in a 1977 student-produced book called "Gripping Tales." Eileen LaCanne wrote a reflection for the book on her experiences raising a child with debilitating seizures.
